A small piano piece

Dear Listener,

Featured is a small video of a tune in F major, composed sometime earlier.
It has a small prelude, melody is played mostly in octaves supported by an octave bass. It is a simple tune with a dreamy feel, to be listened to at leisure.

Let me know if you like it!

Cheers...

Very nice. I loved the beginning (first 23 secs) and the switch to the lower notes. Has quite an Indian feel to it. I felt the notes got a little repetitive in the second half. The use of a constant bass throughout the composition could have been reduced just to give it more variety.

Thanks Karthik for listening and here are my answers to your comments / observations!

1. First 23 secs is the prelude
2. It is in fact set like an Indian song
3. Repeated the phrases for the litener to catch, could have avoided
4. Agreed, bass could be better

It has a nice flowing rythm to it. I agree about the bass, though it is not at all necessary. (Maybe just shift the whole bass for something else one octave up for a few beats now and then?) The melody lines are really "summery", or "springy" if you get what I mean.

If you choose to continue on it, please let us know :)
