Fantasie Impromptu - Blindfolded!!!

Dear reader,

Here is a YouTube video of Saketh Ram playing playing Fantasie Impromptu of Chopin (repeat of section A along with the concluding portion) - Blindfolded and hence some mistakes, especially at large leaps!

Hope you will enjoy!

Trivia: I've seen exponential progress in Saketh's piano playing skills in the past 15 months or so. He started playing two-part inventions of Bach and other relatively simpler and popular pieces by the end of 2013. He did Grade-4 in Aug'2014 and now he is doing ATCL diploma repertoire of Trinity! He is completely self-taught except for few hints from me, especially on expression, and of course encouragement. Saketh, who turned 13 this month was practicing this piece for few weeks now. This idea came from his little sister (7-year-old  Swara) who asked if he can play this blindfold as he was not looking at the keys at times. He practiced for few days for this, but this take with fewer mistakes took some time.

Cheers!
